Something evil has been dug up in Iraq. Something very old and very familiar. The Vampire Nation has decided to ressurect this old and ancient evil, and now the entire human race is in danger. Blade, the vampire hunter is wanted by the government, and is forced to accept help. Hannibal King, Whistler's daughter and a few other vampire hunters calling themselves the Nightstalkers must find a way to stop the vampires from killing off the human race. But whose blood will they drink you ask? Yours, while you hang, brain dead, from a plastic container at the human blood farm. The humans known as familiars have assisted the vampires to not only create a vast conspiratorial network, but also in setting up a New World Order of vampires, where people become nothing but donors of blood, stem cells and DNA. The ancient one, later to be known as Dracula, is the original vampire. A demonic bloodsucker with reptillian shape-shifting abilities who can walk in daylight. Drake. Blade must team up whether he likes it or not to stop this apocalyptic threat to the human race. The Nightstalkers kick ass through their way to save Blade from the vampire-familiars and Danika, a vampire yuppie from hell. This movie isn't Braveheart. Its not supposed to be. You either get it or you don't. Blade Trinity, in the spirit of "They Live" and "V" kicks major vampire ass, and takes it to the next logical step. With Hammer Film sensibilities and a techno drumming hipness, Blade slashes "Van Helsing" to ribbons. "Van Helsing" is a shallow computer generated cartoon in comparison. I say on with Blade 4. |
